Your Guide to NYC Restaurant Week, Broadway Week and Must-See Week
With the short days, snow and below-freezing temperatures, it’s tempting to spend your winter in NYC barely leaving your apartment. However, it’s one of the best times to explore the city thanks to promotional offerings from NYC & Company, New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization. Starting January 21, NYC & Company will host Restaurant Week, Broadway Week and Must-See Week, in which discounts are available at top restaurants, Broadway shows and attractions. Here is your guide to each of these promotions and how to best take advantage of them.
NYC Restaurant Week, January 21 – February 8
NYC Restaurant Week celebrates what is perhaps the city’s favorite pastime: dining out. During the promotion, hundreds of restaurants throughout all five boroughs offer special prix-fixe menus at discounted prices: a two-course lunch for $26 or three-course dinner for $42.* The restaurants range from casual neighborhood joints to high-end classics, and many offer specials just for Restaurant Week diners. Reservations are recommended. Browse participating restaurants here.
If you’re staying with us at Q&A Hotel or happen to be in the neighborhood, here are our favorite participating Lower Manhattan restaurants:
- 10 Corso Como Café
- The Capital Grille Wall Street
- Cipriani Wall Street
- Cut by Wolfgang Puck
- Delmonico’s Restaurant
- Nobu Downtown
- The Tuck Room
*Saturdays excluded, Sundays optional. Beverages, gratuities and taxes not included.
NYC Broadway Week, January 21 – February 10
There’s nothing like live theater, and there’s no better place to experience it than on Broadway. During NYC Broadway Week, you can grab 2-for-1 tickets to some of the best shows currently on stage, from newcomers to long-running favorites. Hamilton may not be on the list, but you’ll find popular, critically-acclaimed titles including:
- The Band’s Visit
- Kinky Boots
- Mean Girls
- The Phantom of the Opera
- My Fair Lady
- Pretty Woman: The Musical
Make a Restaurant Week reservation for before the show and you’ve got the perfect night out on the town. Browse the full list of shows here, and get your tickets soon as they tend to sell out!
NYC Must-See Week, January 21 – February 10

NYC Must-See Week takes the edge off the financial burden by offering 2-for-1 tickets to top attractions in the city, from museums to tours to performing arts. Iconic attractions like the Empire State Building and Madison Square Garden are included, but you’ll also find one-of-a-kind experiences such as Like A Local Tours or a New York City Photo Safari.
