Luminaries is a mesmerizing holiday light installation created by the LAB at Rockwell Group, an experience design studio, for Brookfield Place. Installed in the Winter Garden, the suspended canopy of glowing lanterns changes in color and intensity and is inspired by the season’s traditions of sharing, giving and community.
The light shows occur every half hour, and visitors are encouraged to send wishes to the canopy above from the glowing “wishing stations.” For every wish made, Brookfield Place will donate $1 to Little Essentials, a New York City-based non-profit providing much needed resources and parenting education to children and families living in poverty.
